Man of Steel: 8/10
It looked fantastic, and the fight scenes rank up there with some of the best I've ever seen and the actors were all brilliant. They did a great job of making Superman someone to actually care about again. It did feel like it should have been 2 movies though. They tried to run both Clark growing up and the whole General Zod thing at the same time. It just went by too fast. There should have been a movie about Superman growing up an discovering himself and stuff, then a Movie about Zod's return. There also wasn't quite enough of Superman just generally saving people and being 'Like a god to them' as I thought there should be. That amazing scene on the Oil Rig was pretty much the only one.
It is definitely fully recommended, a must see for the gorgeous cinematography and some gloriously brutal Cryptonian vs Cryptonian fight scenes.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney: 9/10
This is an amazingly faithful live action Japanese version of the much loved Videogame franchise, more specifically the very first game in the series. It covers all but the final case in the game(which was separate from the rest of the game anyways) from every detail, even keeping the script mostly unchanged. You might think that having played the games and knowing all the twists and turns would take away from the experience then, but speaking from such a viewpoint myself I still loved it.
Despite covering around 4 or 5 different cases, it still manages not to feel like it should have been a TV drama. It takes creative liberties in all the right places, and none of them change the story or characters dramatically in any way. More impressive are the little details that make it seem so cartoony as in the games, the entire stands in the court simultaneously falling over in shocked disappointment as a statement of the obvious, a characters magically pulling a megaphone out of his ass just to shout at people in the stands, it nails the comedy aspect perfectly and I burst out laughing innumerable times. It does get serious at times though, and while those times can be jarring as a change of tome they are very well done. One scene like this sticks out especially, and it subverts the style of slapstick humor very well to genuinely terrify you.
By far the most impressive part of the movie is the costume and set design, and the Actors' performances as the characters. The courtroom is pretty much as you'll remember it from the games (albeit with a giant steampunk supercomputer in the ceiling now, an interesting creative liberty that makes presenting evidence a slightly more dramatic affair), the actors are full to the brim with their characters, and THE COSTUME DESIGN. It must have taken real dedication to get everyone's HAIR so perfect. The signature silly hairstyles of the games are all present, Wright's pulled back hedgehog, Butz's Mohawk, the Judge's thick beard and Edgeworth's smart-ass curtains are all recreated perfectly, and the costumes are as faithful as they get. It really is a joy to behold the characters in motion.
If you're a fan of Phoenix Wright, it really is great to see the timeless tale of the first game recreated in Drama, and if you've never played an Ace Attorney game before(or at least missed out on the first) then you're in for a real treat, with a brilliant tale of badass detective work and absurd risks. Some of the creative liberties are questionable, the giant supercomputer in the court raised my eyebrows momentarily but it soon grew on me, but really you have no excuse to miss this if you love good old fashioned detective work or courtroom drama, or indeed some over the top fun.
The entire thing is on YouTube, so go watch it now. Yes. Now.
