I think it's time for Pat and I to find actual people to play with.

We've reached the point where we play decently enough individually and together but bots can't teamwork so playing supports is just grueling sometimes.

drow isnt broken, she's just boring
ls and nyx are broken
5x int mana burn+damage, which is huge against everyone ever mid/late game, and 2.25 second pure damage return (plus no damage done to him)
it makes going up against anyone extremely easy in ganking situations, not to mention aoe attacks

I've gotten progressively better with Bane and Puck but I have no idea what's expected of me as a support in an actual game other than helping teamfights and backing up the carry in the early laning phase, I don't know how to ward or anything.

My favorite supports are Crystal Maiden, Dazzle, Lich, Bane, Venomancer, Jakiro, and Tidehunter

Lich is probably the easiest to use of them

Omniknight is good for early babysitting. As a melee, you naturally act asa. Sort of body shield for your lane partner and if they ever get some hits on him you can heal him and do some damage nearby as a bonus. Plus magic immunity and massive regen with his ult. In general hi ult is good for running from a team fight, using yourself as a body shield and defending everyone to decent health.

I actually think that Riki is quite sub-par.

A simple Dust, a simple Gem or a nicely placed ward. Enough to wreck him down.

And he's one of my favorite heroes...

Part of why I'm doing the test. If it turn out he can fuck up everything without Perma-invis then that makes Perma-invis a buff to an already good hero, which would make him op.

Personally if he wasn't so damn fast I'd be fine with him.
